1. What RespawnIRL Is
RespawnIRL is a self-help app for people who want to reduce or stop compulsive gaming. It is not a medical device, clinical treatment, therapy, or emergency service. It does not diagnose addiction or any other condition.
If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a qualified professional or a crisis helpline.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use RespawnIRL. By using the app, you represent that you meet this requirement.
3. Account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us promptly of any unauthorized access.
4. Subscriptions and Billing
RespawnIRL offers weekly and annual subscription plans. Billing is handled through the Apple App Store and RevenueCat. Subscription terms, renewal, and cancellation are governed by Apple's payment terms.
To cancel, manage your subscription through your Apple ID settings.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the app to harass, threaten, or harm other users.
- Post squad content that is abusive, hateful, or illegal.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or exploit the app.
- Misrepresent your identity or recovery status to other users.
6. Community and Squad
Squad content is visible to your squad members. You are responsible for what you share. We are not liable for squad member communications.

8. Disclaimers
RespawnIRL is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee recovery outcomes. The app is a tool — results depend on your actions and circumstances.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RespawnIRL and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated via the app or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
