RespawnIRL ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. What We Collect

Account data. When you create an account, we collect your email address and any optional profile details (display name, anonymous username, avatar preset). Recovery data. Streaks, quit games, relapse logs, journal entries, urge exercise logs, program progress, pledges, and savings goals are stored tied to your account. Usage data. Standard logs including app version, device OS type, and session timestamps. We do not collect advertising identifiers. Payment data. Subscription billing is handled by Apple (App Store) and RevenueCat. We do not store your payment card details. Push notification tokens. Used only to deliver recovery reminders and squad support alerts. Not used for marketing.

2. How We Use It

  • To deliver the app's recovery features.
  • To sync your progress across devices.
  • To send recovery reminders and squad support alerts you have opted into.
  • To diagnose errors and improve performance.
We do not sell your data. We do not use your recovery data for advertising.

3. Squad and Community

Recovery journal entries, squad status updates, and support requests are visible to your squad members where you choose to share them. Private journal entries are not shared.

4. Data Retention

Your data is retained while your account is active. You can delete your account from Settings → Delete Account. Account deletion removes your recovery data within 30 days.

You may request a copy of your data, correction of inaccuracies, or deletion of your account by contacting us at support@respawnirl.app.

7. Children

RespawnIRL is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. We will notify you of material changes via the app or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
